tickets good at both mountains. In most cases your second day
ticket is substantially less expensive. Most mountains feature
On-Line ticket sales and purchasing by this method will save money.

deals,College Student deals and military discounts. Each Mountain

SNOWMOBILES: You can rent snowmobiles
right here in Bartlett. The Trail System on Bear Notch Road offers
hours of fun and exploration. Plan on spending $150 to $200 to partake
in this activity. You can rent for a half day, a full day, guided
tours or unguided. You can rent most of the clothing you might need if
you don't have it already. You will need a drivers license and a major

Snowmobiles may NOT be operated on the Sky Valley Premises. If you
bring one it must STAY ON THE TRAILER.
Do You Need to Rent Skis ?
Most Mountains and Rental Shops will charge in the
range of $30 to $40 to rent skis, boots and poles.
Tip: HEAVENS SKI SHOP
in Glen is central to all ski areas. They have the same equipment as
everyone else, but you are only going to spend $15 a day for their rentals.
Snowboards are $20.
TIP: You will find the Bartlett area
and the ski slopes the most relaxing mid-week and you should plan your trip
around that if at all possible. Obviously Saturdays and Vacation weeks
will be the most hectic. Perhaps try to arrive on a Thursday and ski
Friday, or stay an extra day and ski Sunday or Monday.

reasonable prices at Bear Notch Touring Center. You can
"strike-out" directly from their rental shop, or try some exploring
along the Saco River from Your Chalet at Sky Valley. An
inexpensive way to spend a day.
